Benkovski waterfall
+ 3
Benkovski Waterfall, near Pićan, specifically at Most Pićan, is approximately 40 meters high and is one of the tallest in Istria, named after the nearby village of Benkovići. Like most waterfalls in the grey Istrian region, it flows during periods of increased rainfall (autumn, winter, spring) and dries up in the summer. It is characterized by impressive high cliffs through which flows the water of the Grajanski Stream, which continues its course to the Krbunski Stream, and then winding its way down all the way to the mouth of the Raša River.
