Hook & Cook

Following a successful premiere in 2024 in Central Istria, Hook & Cook returns to Cerovljanske Bare near Pazin. In collaboration with the Pazinčica Sport Fishing Association and the Central Istria Tourist Board, the festival will present a menu inspired by both freshwater and sea fish.

The gastronomic experience is curated by Petar Tucman, a chef renowned for his creative approach to local ingredients and contemporary interpretations of traditional cuisine. For this special occasion, he has created a signature menu featuring Po' Boy Cuttlefish Sandwich, Cacio e Pastrvete, and Tuna Cheeseburger – dishes that uniquely combine local ingredients, fish, and a modern street food concept.

This festival is a true treat for all lovers of fish-based street food! Enjoy outstanding specialties freshly prepared on-site by the Hook & Cook team.

The evening's soundtrack will be provided by the hip-hop and funk collective TACOOR and GROOVOTEKA, known for their all-vinyl DJ sets that take audiences on a journey through funk, soul, hip-hop, and timeless dance classics.

One of the festival's highlights will be the fish stew (fiš paprikaš) cooking competition. Teams from the Pazinčica Sport Fishing Association will showcase their culinary skills, with their dishes evaluated by an expert jury. Visitors will also have the opportunity to taste these traditional specialties.
