Tavern Vela vrata
Beram is today a small place known for its medieval frescoes in the Church of St. Martin and in the small church of St. Mary on Škriljinah, which attract numerous visitors, especially foreign guests who love history and cultural heritage, but also an excellent gastronomic offer. Vela vrata is a sweetly decorated tavern with about twenty seating places inside and a fireplace, and a wonderful view that extends from the terrace which has even forty seating places. Their focus is on authentic Istrian cuisine. A little detour to Beram will provide a wonderful experience and an opportunity to taste the finest of Istria. In addition to truffles, the hosts pair ingredients with Istrian olive oil and, of course, wines!
