Tourist Board of Central Istria hosted ITHAS in its destination

 

 

International Tourism & Hospitality Academy at Sea (ITHAS) as part of its study visit themed
Tourism Policy, organized by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zagreb, also visited the area of Tourist Board of Central Istria.

 

 

Around ninety students and professors of the International Tourism & Hospitality Academy
at Sea are staying in Croatia from May 11th to 18th as part of their study visit organized by
the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zagreb. On this occasion, on Thursday, May
16th, they visited municipality of Tinjan.
In Tinjan, they visited Istrian prosciutto house and taste this autochthonous Istrian cured
meat product, and then the owner of the agency My Istria, Ivan Milotić gave a presentation to everyone present.
They also visited the Native Collection of Enriko Depiera, where they learned about the
abundance of important artifacts from the past of Tinjan and its surroundings, as well as the
work of the locals throughout history.
We are happy that we can proudly represent our area and stakeholders in tourism on study
visits, and we thank them for coming and looking forward to all future meetings!
